Isn't it sad that most people have no honor anymore? I told the clown that I can't believe how most of the people that I have dealt with in Florida do not honor their word. Weather it's the dirt hauler, the County employees, the dry wallers, the painters.,the salespeople at different business's, even the guys that complain that they have no work just don't do what they say they will. Like you said before, it's a different breed with the locals.

Did the guy that stiffed you have any kind of apology? Hell, I know the answer already. Nope, nothing.

I honestly hung up while he was mid sentence, I could feel my blood pressure rise the more he spoke.

I had that happen just last saturday. Made a time to come buy the truck, guy calls me when I within a block of where I had to go and said he was checking to see where I was. Walked in and told me he just sold the truck, I drove 45 miles to get there, and then tried to sell me another truck. I just said I'm out of here.

That's the way it supposed to be John. I've always said "They can take your house, your land, your money, your dog, even your wife, but they can't take your word. You own that".

My brother tried to call ole Jimmie last night, but he won't answer his phone now.

Tony, too bad I didn't know you were lookin for a HD. My brother inlaw has a excellent Road King for sale at a good price. Has a custom made removable fairing that can be taken off in less than a min.

https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?f...type=3&theater

I hope these turn out.

2001 Road King Standard, stock. 17,400 plus miles, Vivid Black, Screaming Eagle mufflers.$11,250 with original detachable windshield, $12,250 with detachable fairing. Original mufflers included. Black jack lift, $275. Will not sell till bike is sold. Its here in Brownstown, Michigan

I know I can get him to lower the price as he just had a knee replaced and wont be ridding anymore. This bike looks like brand new.

ITS STILL FOR SALE IF YOUR INTERESTED.

Thanks Ken. Bike looks real good, but it is too new for me. I want one that is pre-1999. The later ones are fuel injected and have a computer on them. I want points and a carb. Thanks again.

Well, the bike is in my brothers trailer on the way to my place down there. Ole Jimmy had a change of heart. I ended up splitting the extra 500 with him. I have been looking for a long time for a machine exactly like this one, and believe me, they are hard to find. I think I got a pretty good deal on it. Brother took it for a long ride, said it's like a brand new one. Jimmy had all the service records and receipts for all the extra junk he put on it.

Yep, I'm happy with the bike. Not so much with Jimmy. I dislike people like him that do not keep their word.
