There is no number on the front deck below passenger side head. The car is in storage so I cant look at it now.

If I'm not mistaking crate motors don't come with the stamping on that pad, but there should be a casting number on the back of the block where the bell housing bolts on the drivers side below the head. Should be something like whats in this picture.

I've been in the garage since 8 this morning and I got the quarter panel and outer wheel well pretty much finished up today. Just have a couple of spot welds to finish up. The back half all but fell into place unlike where the door,rocker,and quarter meet up. That's where it had be wrecked before and half-a$$ fixed. but I think I've managed to get everything massaged into place. Its kinda starting to look like a car again.

Has anyone had any personal experience American Auto Wire kit? I've read some good things about them and the kit seems really complete. I'm thinking I need to order that and my master cylinder brake booster pretty soon.

Appreciate it Ray! Mestorod, Thanks, I'm sure in no time yours will be finished. While working on it, it seems like it's never going to end but when it does it's very satisfying knowing you did it. Are you asking what I used for paint to seal the panel? If so, I just used a two part epoxy primer and a semi-gloss enamel on some stuff.

I remember building mine, it never seemed like I would every finish it. Over 5 years of working on it, looking for parts and trying to come up with the money I needed to complete it. Stay the path and you will make it, and end the end you will be glad you did.
