I am like Hank, the temperature was at 100 and with the humidity it felt like 105. I took advantage of the heat and humidity and pulled out my smoker today and smoked some pulled pork and ribs. I sweated my behind off, but they were so good.

I decided this morning to turn my air up a little to save some $$ on my electric bill, big mistake ! With all the humidity, I can get the house comfortable, but not as cool as it was before. The low is supposed to be 79 tonight, and I hope that we get some showers for my garden too. I am lucky flash, as my garden is small enough for me to water. I hope yours recovers.

We've had 23 or 24 days of 90 or above, today will be another one. Normal summer is 11 days at 90 or above and this is still July. I don't even want to drive that furnace called a Chevelle, no AC. The few times I have you have to peel your soaking wet clothes off when you get home and jump in the shower.

High today is still around 80 degrees, been a nice few weeks around here. They said on the weather report it has been a year since we hit a 90 degree day. Got a feeling fall is going to be very warm around here. I can't complain after watching the rest of the US with scorching heat.

Oh what I would give for 69 degrees. It is 1:47am and it is 77 degrees outside, and humid.
