Process of storing car for winter

Joan and I went for an hour cruise in the 72 vert tonight ,top up of course .Ive been driving the El Camino for the last 2 weeks because my truck is sick. I dont use covers at all as they would be a pain to put on and take off .

I thought it was time to bring this post back to the top to see if anyone else has any good ideas for us that have to store our cars in winter as it is getting to be that time again.

Car cover on mine, Sta Bil in the gas tank, battery disconnected and hooked to a battery tender, I don't put mine up on anything. Car is stored in a heated garage. I'm looking at buying a set of Go Jack car dollies or something very close to them that don't cost so much.

I was just reading some of the NOCC monthly newsletter and one of the suggestions is dryer sheets inside the cabin, trunk and trunk. Mark said that since he has used them he has not had a mice problem in the car, and it smells good when he gets into in the spring.

I've read on an RV forum that they work pretty good. Don't have a problem with mice in the garage but may put some in the motorhome.
