Tony, my side walls are 10' and my calulations show I should be able to get a 72 Camaro SS underneath it. I'm going to remove the Garage door opener this weekend and take it all the way up and see what I get. Also, I'm down in Indiana at our warehouse and grabed 5 of those adjustable valves for you.

Hank, The rug is a nice touch, when I was spending all the hours underneath that thing putting in the 5 speed it was nice...

I know what you mean Ric, I have carpeting under my Chevelle. It's pretty dirty now from working on the car but it beats cold hard concrete.

Check out the post in engine and trans forum, give him your thoughts on the 5sp.

OK Ric. I'm supposed to drop off that small block to the guy in Fenton Sat. I'll give you a call if I have time. I'd like to see the new lift. 5 valves will last me til I'm dead!

No problem Tony, I will be home all day, I live right off Owen Road behind the High school. Just give me a call if you have time. I have another 200 valves as well. Also, I think your VAN is a Ford if I remember right and I found all kinds of OE brake parts that I won't let my guys throw away till I fiqure out what they fit...so let me know what your van year and model (150, 250, 350)

I keep telling you guys that smoking 2 packs a day is keeping me alive!

Ric, the van is a 1995, e250. It would be nice if you found a set of rear drums for it. The ones on it, with only 22000 miles, have rusted so much that the outside ring is falling off.

I'll call if I can get over there. I'm doing a major overhaul on a 99 HD. I'm running around this morning, getting birthday presents for the grand daughter. She's 5 in a week.

Got the Garage door opener off today and got to take the lift all the way up to the ceiling and still have 64" inches left to park another car underneath it. My daily driver 09 Impala LTZ is only 60" so I have room. I still had another 2-3 inches to the ceiling as well. A 72 Camaro is only 50.5" high...

I can walk all the way underneath it without crouching and I'm 5'10".

The bad thing is how bad my car looks on the underside now that I can see it not laying on my back.

Nice. Just put the Camaro on top...the undercarriage on it is clean!. I took a scotch-brite pad to the fuel tank. It looks new again. I sprayed it down with Bo-Shield. Also, the rust that was starting to show on the exhaust manifolds came rite off.

The guy that I was supposed to drop the engine off at did'nt call till late this afternoon. He was duck hunting, so it will be sometime next week before I get to your end of town.

Tony, just give me a call when you will be in this area, the garage door guy will be here tomorrow to raise the door to the ceiling so I will be working from home. Do you know where in Fenton you have to take the motor?

Hey Ric...I dropped it off this morning. On Thompson Rd. Just west of 75.

Is he putting in an opener too?
