My brothers house has so much standing water in his back yard right now, that you would think he had beach front property. lol

We have been having the driest December on record. Last year at this time I was trying to add a laundary room on in soaking rains. I have been able to do projects on the house I figured I would not be able to do it until next next spring. Made some progress today. More siding and reset the door today and installed the door trim and Barb (my wife) did the painting for me.

My week-end went pretty good. I bought an older Hein-Werner, 2 ton floor jack for 25 bucks. Put some hydraulic oil in it, cleaned out the check balls, and it works like new. Big old heavy monster, but shes a dandy. One of my friends, not so good though. He's a just retired Sheriffs Deputy, Sgt, and he went up a set of outside stairs to a second floor. The railing broke, he fell to the ground and landed in a pile of junk. Broke his right femur. Went to the hospital in an ambulance. They put a plate in his leg. Friday night, he dreamed he had a B&E call, so he got out of bed to go on the call. He fell and broke his left femur. They are doing surgery on that one in the morning.

Second wettest year on record around here and we didn't have any rain during the summer months. All of it in the spring and fall.

That really sucks, sounds worse than a broken pelvis. At least I still had one leg to use. Was that one of the 2 guys we met at your house a few weeks back?

Not one of those guys. If you remember Shawn, the guy with all the tattoos, he worked on the Fugitive Recovery Team. They captured the worst of the worst. He just lost a Federal court case that was filed against him and 3 of his team members. The dirt-bag claimed they used "excessive force" when he was arrested. Didn't matter that the criminal tried to run them down with his truck. The Court figured they should have been able to "jump out of the way" of the vehicle.
