That's an odd bed on there. It looks like the frame is cut behind the back wheels, making me think it was a wrecker at one time.

Nice, I like it.

Not a fan of that style gooseneck hitch, but guess it would not be hard to remove that one and place another that gives better base for the entire bed.

It was bought new in Marietta Ga by a rental company ,I know nothing about the bed ,just that the truck pulled a really heavy looking goose neck trailer with a tractor on it .He tried to sell the truck and trailer as a package deal but I really could not see both as I can borrow a trailer if needed . The bed will eventually be modified a little later and the gooseneck hitch will probably go away.

First off flash, love your modeling skills next to the truck. "I'm too sexy for my truck" .

Neat truck. So what did the Mrs. say when you told her that you wanted another toy ?

I forgot to mention I went to the bodyshop today and forgot to look at the other 72 as I wanted the gas tank from it for this one .Darrel didnt like the idea of me stealing parts from that one for this one .I told him the other one wasnt going to notice it gone.

Joan and I were discussing the 72 1 ton last night and we were discussing what we were going to name it and she called it Grumpy ,because it dont like to start in the morning so it is now officially named Grumpy .I blew a tire monday on my way to get 6 new tires installed and had to get it hauled up there on a flatbed ,hopefully it wont make a habit of that .
