I lost some weight. But then I found it again!!!
Actually I have dropped two pant sizes in the last month and a half.
Now my wife wants me to see the doctor for fear I'm getting sick.

So that brings me to last March. I weighed in at 218 pounds and I was a bit disappointed in that to say the least. So I started an intense diet and excercise program, and dropped my weight to 183 pounds and was well on my way to being in excellent physical shape. I had a 4 pack going in the abs and the 6 pack was just starting to come through. It took me 3 months to do this.

Then in May I had a head on car crash and could no longer workout and the disappointment led to me eating like crap again and here I sit again, on Monday I weighed 218 pounds again. So I am back to my intense diet, and working out. Today I am at 214 pounds.

Anybody else want to join me and we will keep everyone each other to get ourselves in shape? We have enough time to do this before summer gets here, and makes the winter go by much better.

Jeff
So how's it going Jeff?

I started at 280 in December and now at 247 as of this morning. Plan to go down to at least 230, but my goal is 220. Doctor said get rid of it, so did the wife.

Very well so far, thank you. I am currently down about 30 pounds from my starting weight, actually 29 to be accurate. I run and bike or both every single day, and lift weights every other day as well. My biggest challenge i had to overcome was forcing myself to eat enough calories. With the level of excercise I do, I need about 3400 calories a day to have a 750 calorie a day deficit roughly. I am not a big eater, so for me 3400 calories a day is a ton of food. Once I got my diet plan worked out, the weight pretty much just falls off. Its strange that I have to eat more to weigh less, but thats how it works.

I am hoping to hit about 180 pounds by the end of May or so, then I am going to go back on a gainer diet and pack on more muscle again. I have lost about 14% body fat or so according to my body calipers, and would like to drop another 4-5%. I do know I have lost some muscle size with it from eating too few calories at the begininng, but I can get that back after I am done cutting.

Is anyone else still doing this?

Jeff

Outstanding job Ray, that is awesome to drop 33 pounds. I have found the last 10 for me are quite a challenge. I've been fighting them for a little while now.

Keep up the great work. The hard work now will reward you in the end

Jeff

Jeff congrats also. It is a challenge to take in the correct amount of calories. I find myself falling short at time also. My wife helps me keep tabs on it. Keep us post on your progress.

So does anyone have any good recipes for good tasting healthy food? We are always searching for something new.
