Today we had snow whiteout that caused a 30+ car pile up on I-75 here in Detroit. There were many people hurt and 3 fatalities, not sure but have heard that 2 of them are children from Canada. So sad.

We had a lot of rain last night, then it became cold and windy. The temps this morning were in the low 20's and there were patches of ice all over. Right now it is only 26 degrees and we are still having patches of white out snow.

Hit 55° today and no rain with the sun all day. It was a nice break. Going to be dry for the weekend.

Cold, windy, and overall miserable... typical February weather in Florida. Pissed, missing out on a side job tomorrow because of the cold. It's not everyday that I have the chance to make $150 in four hours.

We are about to get one of the biggest snow storms in the century they are saying on the news. Just about all the schools are closed in the state and we are expected to get 2ft plus of snow. It's like the blizzard of 78 all over again! The governor wants everybody home by noon so I need to get goin. The towns have been looking pretty crazy in the last day, cars everywhere and people acting like the worlds gonna end getting all there gas and groceries. In the end it's just a snowstorm blizzard and we will all be fine. I hope my son will be able to plow it all with my quad.

I have been hearing that winter has arrived. Looks like it's going to skip us this year. Sunny and 50° and no rain for the next week or so, just sun balls.

Well the snow hit us last night, or that is what the news said. School was cancelled, I know because at 5am our phone rang with a recorded message that there was no school. So we got 4-5", it was not really a lot of snow. My son was out at 7am shoveling and at 11am he looked outside and was bummed that he would have to shovel again. I had to laugh. So we survived this, I just hope that the people in New York fare just as well, my daughter Lacie being one of them. The snow is expected to reach a upwards of 24".

I hope everyone survives this storm unscathed.
