Well we've had 2 days this week, again tonight, with temps in the 20's. Highs should be 70 or close to it. Today was a wapping 58. At least it was sunny. Lynda drove the zero turn around the yard and I weed wacked. Nothing exciting but at least we were outside not locked in the house.

Mother nature is being a bitch. The corona virus keeps you at home and the weather keeps you inside. Guess we pissed her off.

Well I sure hope I don't have to go that route to get our boat running again.

I told my brother the weather was our fault because we got boats. Like rain when you wash the car.

I did yardwork today. LOL weed whacker was idling sounded fine and locked slick up. I went ad got a new one. Old one was in the garbage at the curb I got it running it lasted 11 years so no complaints with it. She was a faithful ol girl for alot longer than I expected.

River is going down so maybe the dock will go in. It is going to be 80 it says tomorrow. I replanted the begonias that froze. I put the old ones in back by the drive in case the live. I will water them.

I am with you on the corona virus thing. It is over. Wife is a nurse. No new cases at all almost. All the old ones are healing and going home. The early ones that were fatalities went fast in the beginning. It really seems if it was going to get you. It already did. For the rest of us it isnt as bad.

I still havent started the boat tho. Once the dock is in and the temps are right. It is supposed to rain for 2 weeks. Like you said Mother nature is pissed. I don't know what i did but i swear i am sorry.

Hope you all feel fine and are safe.

I got the money for the motor now. I am waiting to see how this virus nonsense plays out. Dont want to spend the money then need it because the economy took a dump over this. Car been close to 20 years now in the making another 6 months or so on this wont hurt nothing.

Well the economy already took a dump. How many businesses that were forced to close will even reopen? If restaurants can open at only 25% or 50% capacity, how long can they manage that? They're leases or mortgage payments aren't going to be cut to 25% or 50%. Property taxes, insurance and other fixed costs won't be cut. Even if they do open all the way, how many people will feel safe going there?

I think the virus is real, but I worry more about what this country will look like going forward. Our county has a very low infection rate so I'm not worried about catching it. Other parts of MI are a lot different. Brighton usually has a high volume of traffic downtown, lot's of restaurants and small businesses. Drive there now and it looks like a ghost town. Guess we'll have to wait and see.

They have made choices that will destroy the country. But this is normal for the system. They get their money is all they care about. The little guy can lay in waste.

Hasn't been run in years but our daughter lives on a lake. I can put it in there and use when I want.
Did you get any remodeling work done on her place over the winter?

NO! I painted the living room and dining room in our house. Ripped out the carpet and padding and put down new flooring. Now it's time to move outside, if the weather would cooperate. She needs some new door walls and windows but I'm not doing that. Plus she hasn't been working, 1 day last week and 1 this week. So she doesn't have the money to do all the things she wants.

You still in FL? If so good, it sucks here. Lousy weather and most places closed.

You have to be getting close to done on your place. It is almost a brand new place!

I am back here. Got home wed. Would much rather be back down there in the woods.

Inside is pretty much all done, well we are going to replace some door walls.

I hear you, most places are still closed. Did you bring your barber with you? My hair is going to look like your's pretty soon. Island Lake gun range opened up, think I'll go blow off some steam this week. Today is supposed to be nice, maybe take the Chevelle out. Going stir crazy here.
