On mine, it has an electronic water valve and must be installed a particular way for it to work. Have you checked this? As I recall, you have to program the system by jumpering a white wire to a ground which then caused all the actuators and motors to self-learn. Just a thought because the Chevelle only runs 155-160 degrees down the road in this cold weather but still blows nice and warm through the vent. I can't imagine the thermostat would have you running so cold that you get no heat, but I suppose it is a cheap part to swap out and see.

I changed the thermostat and still very little heat ,both heater hoses are plenty hot so water is getting past the valve .I need to look online for a set of instructions as they were left at the shop when they installed it .And unfortunately Neil left the bodyshop and he installed it .

I love these old cars/trucks but they are always a work in progress. Even when you think that you are done there is always something else to do. lol
