Been many times...including 2012.
Actually starts the Wed before T-giving and runs thru the Sunday after.
Lots of stuff going on day & evening at the Speedway and offsite @ BelAire (Publix) Plaza.
Probably 5-6000 cars of all shapes and types along with a HUGE swap meet.

We have the March spectacular here in the same location too. I've been so many times over the years that I am tired of it. Myself and others are so tired of the "parking lot shows." We want to put together some events that include driving our cars to an interesting place. (Auto museum, car collection, etc.)

We have the Chrysler Museum in Auburn Hills that has weekly cruises thru the summer. It is cool because you can go into the Museum and check out the cars too.

I do agree that the parking lot car shows are getting old.
