This is where one of those game cameras becomes fun.
I was hoping someone would be able to tell me what they are. Thanks. Wonder how my dogs will act if they set a cat that size?

Okay BOSS MAN! I'll run the stand, Ric and Brian can pick the berries. They can take turns, one picking, one keeping a lookout for bobcats.

I know, Ric and Brian are thinking WHAT? Remember guys, I have to deal with the public. People trying to steal our, I mean Tony's, berries. Trying to bargain on the price. You guys will have it easy.

If they are smart, they will run. Those things are viscous and will tear you to shreds. A deer slug or .308 round will fix the situation permanently.

Looks like I will have to promote one of you guys to "Wild-life management". I can supply the fire-arms and ammo, but you must use ammo sparingly, due to increased cost. One shot, one kill.

Guess I better start doing some target practice. I don't trust Ric or Brian with a weapon, don't want to get shot in the back while I'm trying to sell berries.

Default bob cats

Here are some bobcats in my backyard.
They keep the smaller criters at bay.
They dont mess with my cat..they wont risk geting hurt in a fight.
Im pretty sure you cant go shooting them willy nilly but i think there is a
season for them if you must.
I personaly think they are verry COOL.
Whatever you do...FFS dont shoot a panther...its big jail time.!

I wouldn't shoot them for any reason except for my own safety, and I figure if I leave them alone, they will leave me alone. One of the reasons I'm building in the sticks is for the wild-life. I likes me some wild animals.

Until you leave the front door open and in comes a alligator or the Bob cat.
