They have several "shelf grinds" that work well with stock heads. Not sure on the cost off the top of my head. The flat tappet hydraulics should be about half what the hydraulic roller set up was.

Can't really say I've made a whole lot of progress with the car but still trugging along. I'm coming to realization that I'm probably not going to get this thing thing finished before my deadline, but I did pick up a ZZ4 long block with roller cam and vortec heads over the weekend. A guy had it sitting on a shelf for the last several years and never did anything with it. So I was able to pick it up for a really good price. I spoke with Chris at Straub Technology about a cam for the stock vortec heads and he recommended his "squishy" semi-custom grid which sounds really good which is supposed to make around 400 HP with a Performer RPM intake. Video of a motor with that cam. ---> http://youtu.be/kPIqyEfuT5o
![]() Got a little work done on the trunk floor also. Got everything cut out and ready to weld into place. ![]()

Got my other my other frame stripped last night, loaded up and off the sandblasters this morning. They said they would have it back to me by the end of the week and for really cheap if ya ask me, sandblast the whole thing and put a coating of epoxy primer for $200.

Is that a BOP frame? I ask because the cross member reminds me of the one in my father's 72' Lemans.
