My poly locks showed up tonight, was expecting them last weekend. Guess I can finally run the valves after work tomorrow. I've had the pushrods since Saturday.

And we have a tropical depresssion covering most of the state right now. I have a feeling that is going to put a huge damper on any progress for the rest of the week.

Bummer carpoor. I just love that name, it could fit any and all of us, love it !

I didn't do anything with my car today. What a bummer for me.

Was able to beat the rain today! All parts installed, and valves adjusted. An added bonus, the intake manifold is on and sealed up. I am unsure about the placement of the two studs provided in the factory bolt kit. Maybe Ray will chime in and remind me where they are supposed to be.

One goes up front for the alternator bracket to connect too, and the other in the back for the metal vacuum line to the brake booster. You motor is looking good.

Got the Chevelle appraised and change the insurance on it today. Now I can go get it licensed and be legal on the road.

I FINALLY got to working on it after months of watching take up a spot next to the driveway. I got the front clip off and started cleaning up the frame to get it ready to squirt some paint on it.

I drove the El Camino to work today since the parts store sent me the wrong brake shoes for my truck.
