Got the topcoat on the frame tonight and got the rear end all cleaned up, primed and painted. With what I started out with I'm really happy with how it turned out.

Eaton-Makes a clutch Posi Unit -Heavy Duty Differential GM 8.2" 10-Bolt Chevy Posi Unit - 28 Spline - Posi Traction. Plus the gears and axles and you are set. Should handle any horsepower you have.

I used the Eaton pro-series posi, Richmond gears and bearings and a C Clip eliminator kit.

We've shutdown the plant I work at till the end of May to fix, repair, and replace a whole bunch of things so I don't figure much work will get done on the car since I'll be working 16 hour days for the next three weeks, then 12's after that till we start back up.

I had a very busy weekend getting things done around the house but didn't get a whole lot done with the car. Sunday evening I was able to get the the axle under the car and the A-arms, shocks, brakes, rotors, and tires. Here's what I got done last night.

After checking some things out. I think I'm going to just keep the 10 bolt and use the money I would spend on a 12 bolt and upgrade the 10 bolt later on down the road. I'll probably put a eaton posi unit in it with 3.55 gears and c-clip eliminator kit and a nice support cover to finish it off.

Well I didn't get the car finished in time for the wedding, which was a long shot considering the time frame I had and the amount of work that had to be done. But the wedding did turned out great and we were able to use my uncles truck. As soon as I get back I'm going to get back to work on the car because we both would like to be able to drive it and do a couple small cruise-in's by the end of the summer. Here's a couple of pictures from the wedding and my uncles truck.
