Buddies 2 bbl motor in a 71 chevelle. Light porting a RV type cam. Headers and a 4 bbl added. Ran 12.7 consistently for 8 years on skinny factory sized tires. Or you could light them up till you let off whichever mood you were in.

I trying to say I would look into just freshing it up some. It be fine.
