Dad's Cemetary

It is not often that I get to go visit my fathers grave site. He is buried close to Grand Rapids Michigan and it is about a 3 hour drive. Some people may think that this is weird that I am posting these pics. But my father passed when I was 9yrs old and left my mom with 6 kids. Some of my siblings have never seen my dads grave site. And it is a long drive for my mother, so I am posting them for my family.

The main family headstone. There used to be a tree on either side of the headstone. The Cemetery removed them because they were getting to large.

My Uncle Ernie. He was a Master Sargent in the Air Force.

My father's headstone. He was in the U.S. Navy and worked in the store on the ship.

I took this picture standing on the main road. Our family plot is right in the middle of the picture.

Some of the graves date back to the 1700's.
