I'm hunting for another Chevelle. I want one that isn't as nice as the 69 was. The numbers matching, all original cars are fantastic, but I'm over owning them. I had the 68 Z28, the 70 Z28. and the Chevelle that were all that way. It's way too much on my brain trying to keep the idiots away from my cars. I am going to build one that is similar to the Nova. One that I can beat the snot out of and not worry about it. Been thinking about a 67. I'd like to find a perfect body, build a 427 for it. I'm partial to that little ole 427 for some reason.

I know what you mean Tony. Mine is not numbers matching and it definitely needs a paint job but I'm not afraid to drive it and beat the daylights out of it. Lynda said I should look into getting a paint job for it. Sink $8,000 to $10,000 into a paint and sure as hell first time I take it out it'll get a stone chip or somebody will scratch it. That would really piss me off. Now it's like oh well, no big deal, it wasn't perfect to begin with.

None of them are ever perfect. It's one thing when you scratch it yourself,you wish you could just kick yourself in the butt hoping it would make you feel better. But when you come back to your car at carshow and find a scratch or chip on the fender caused from some idiot with a walletchain, that's different.
That's why I've always bought cars with decent paint, far from perfect, but nice enough to take them to shows. Cars were made to be driven! If they get chipped, I touch em up!:D

Thanks for understanding Hank. Every time that 72 Camaro is brought up, it makes me feel like a cheap, lying, scummy, dis-honest "used car salesman".
