Default My Chevelle Replacement!

Well,
since I've sold my 70 Chevelle SS and my 02 35th LE, your probably wondering what I decided to get as a replacement.
Back in Feb.2013, I decided to get a 2013 Camaro SS Convt. and had it sent to Nickey Chicago to have a Naturally Aspirated 600hp Stage 2 package installed. So it has the "old School" sound. I took delivery on May 10, three days after my birthday. I had it for about a month. On June 13, I sent it back to Nickey to have a Special Edition Red Magnuson Super Charger installed. When it was all said and done, my car had 780hp @ the flywheel. The dyno results were 655rwhp and 600ft lbs. of torque with 11lbs. boost. I'm happy now! My Camaro is #10 of all the Nickey Convertibles built since Nickey started building Camaros back in 2009. Sorry it's not a Chevelle, but I hope you like it anyway. Click on the youtube link at the bottom to hear it running.

What the engine looked like before the Magnuson upgrade!

That is awesome Brian! I am sure a lot of people here will frown upon your car but there is no comparing the so called muscle cars of the 60s and 70s to what is available today !Enjoy the crap out of it as I am doing with my 13 C6 but It is like Christmas Eve for me the closer October gets in anticipation of my 14 C7

Very nice Brian and I'm glad I got to see it in person at the Camaro Superfest.

And to comment on Grandsports comment, I have always seen everyone on this board be supportive of all of our cars no matter what year or make.

See you in Frankenmuth.

Have to agree with Ric. I don't think anyone here has a problem with Brian selling his Chevelle and buying a new Camaro. Brian's a big boy, it's his choice and I think we all agree his Camaro is a pretty sweet ride. I also don't think anyone here will deny the superior technology available today vs the 60's and 70's.

Still, most of admire and enjoy 'the so called muscle cars of the 60s and 70s' and since this site is dedicated to some of those 'so called muscle cars' maybe you could respect our choice just as we respect yours and Brian's.

I like all toys ,new and old .I just cant afford both old and new so I keep my old ones and I also dont know how to work on anything on the new ones . The old ones keep me plenty busy as well.
