Those strips along the side that the headliner folds over, GooGone will clean them up. I removed all the strips then wiped the adhesive off using GooGone. I didn't have the rust on the roof to deal with. Keep us posted on how this project goes, good luck.

I took off the headliner strips and had them powder coated. To bad I have to cover them with the headliner
