Being involved with Audiokarma, I have learned that having a great surge protector on your computer can help alot. It has saved some very expensive pieces of audio equipment as well as computers.
I don't know know that much about having the lightening strike, but I think I would do as much as I could to protect my investments. I hope that this is the last time that Mother Nature has it out for you.
