My 70 Malibu build

Got the car running a whole lot better this evening. Used a different carb from a buddy of mine. I've rebuilt mine twice and it still hasn't fixed it, so it looks like I'm going to get another one. What's some suggestions for a good carb for a fairly mild street motor? I've always run edelbrock and it's what I'm used to but open to others like Demon, Holley, Proform, another edelbrock? Thinking I could get by with a 650 or would a 750 be better?

I would run a holley 3310 vac secondary carb on a mild 350.
A double pumper 650 or 750 is a little more tunable but will suck more gas.
A secondary quick change spring kit can be had for the 3310.

Hey what do you think about the street demon carbs like these?

I've heard a lot of people say good things about them. I'm not the type of driver that has a lead foot all the time and I don't figure I'll be doing any racing. I like the looks of them and they are supposed to be pretty reliable and the price isn't to bad either.

I have also. Have several friends who have them and love them.

Have never used one...but I do know that several books are available on
how to tune and modify holley carbs at your local book store.
It may be worth a visit and thumb thru them.
I have used edelbrock carbs..(carter AFB) they are ok...But spendy.
