Unhappy Laptop is too warm on stomach.

With warm weather upon us,my laptop is starting to get uncomfortable in bed with it resting on my stomach. Does anyone else notice this, and what do you do to remedy the problem?

We have those laptop pads. Hard plastic on the top side, pillow like cushion on the bottom. Works pretty good, don't feal the heat from that battery. Make sure your cooling vents are clean too. If you don't have one get a can of compressed air, Office Max and I'm sure others, have it. Helps it run cooler if it has good airflow.

Dont lay it on your stomach while laying in bed and I would bet it will be cooler. I dont have a laptop so I have no clue what I am typing about as usual.

Time to pull out the credit card and get a iPAD, they don't get hot and are pretty cool and battery last a long time.

The iPAD might be an idea, unless your getting older and your eyesight is going.

You now know you have a source of heat for next winter to keep you warm. Sounds like you won't need an electric blanket.

We got a new laptop this week and it's nice but the optimal resolution is 1449 x 1600 and if you try to change it everything gets strange, and the computer yells at you. I noticed at 48 years of age things sure are getting harder to read then they use to be. Darn old age!!!
