We have been in the high 90's the last 3 days. Had been in the low 70's. Big swing in temperature when you are not use to it. One thing is nice we do not have the humidity like other have. Looks like going to cool down to the mid 80's for the weekend. ,

On Wednesday night we took Grumpy's Jeep to a car show at the Chrysler Museum. The temperature was 90+ degrees and the humidity was like pea soup in the air. So on the way home we had all the side windows rolled up. We made the turn onto the road which runs right infront of our house, only 2 miles to go till air conditioning. As soon as we made the turn we could see the sky, and the rain, up ahead. We were hoping that we would beat it home, no luck. First the small drops, then WHAM, it was pouring so hard.

If anyone has ever driven an old Jeep in the rain you know that the windshield wipers are about 9" long, and work like crap. We didn't have far to go, and I am sure that people were looking at us like we were crazy as we drove by them. Amazingly we did not get wet, at least not till we came to a stop and got out of the Jeep. It was fun.

Anyway, the rain was welcome here too. I am looking forward to temps in the 80's. No more 90 degree days....pleeze.....

we need it here too, we had 5 days over 90 and set a record locally of 102, it's nice to not have to cut the grass , but it's gettin a little too brown for my liking.
It was suppose to start raining here today...but with a local car show tomorrow it looks like it's gonna hold off long enough to ruin the show

We didn't see one there but earlier that day Grumpy and I were on our way to an appointment. We pulled into the parking lot, which was FULL, not a spot to be seen. We were in our full size van so we knew that if we were lucky enough to find a spot, that it would probably be a one that we would have to squeeze the van into. We stopped while someone walked across the parking lot.

Then we saw someone backing out of a spot right in front of the door, yeah. And guess what it was.....yep...a Pacifica. The grandsport gods must have been shining on us that afternoon.

Therefore, I will be happier!
Sounds like Chris has a Chrysler product.
