I regularly listen to anything from Allison Krauss to Cake, and all things in between

Not sure how far reach Bob Seger has from the midwest, but some of you may thought this was just written for Chevrolet..it wasn't I see Bob Seger when he was just a bar band in the early 70's and still one of my favorites today. I was at a Kid Rock concert two years ago and Kid pulled him on stage for a duo and it was great.

Seger played at one of our high school dance's in 69 or 70. He's come a long way since then. I've always been a fan, although there are a couple of his newer songs I'm too crazy about.

I almost don't know what to say about that "solo" that prince or whatever the b'jesus his...er...its name is now. Not impressive whatsoever, and while I can appreciate that performance for what it is, with all those greats playing together, they could/SHOULD have chosen someone waaaaaay different to play the solo than that character. I can think of at least 10 people more worthy...not even including any of the guys on that stage.

No offense of course...just my opinion. Rant over.

These guys really JAM in this little beatles tune...(how ironic that it is the same song, huh?)

Tommy Emmanuel (guitar) and Jake Shimabukuro (ukulele)

Ok, but I do think Prince has some real talent. I'm not a big fan but some of his stuff is good and he can play the guitar. Not saying he is the best but he's not bad.

Jake,

Its funny but since we got our kids the guitar hero games they just love Deep Purple. Smoke on the water and Highway star are some of their very most favorites. I love it that they are digging something other then Hannah banana
