Default Grandsports' view of the Ohio Show

Well, this was the first major show that I have attended and it was great putting the faces together with the names from both sites. It was a very relaxing weekend for me with perfect weather and lots of great cars and all the talking I did didn't make me a dime. I stayed out of trouble,of course I didn't go looking for it. My thanks to the Grumpys and the Flashes, for making this a special 2 days!

A part of who we are, is the people that we surround ourselves with.

I consider myself a very lucky lady because this weekend I was able to surround myself with people who are some of the most special people anyone would ever want to meet.

John and Joan, what can I say...These two just ooze southern hospitality. The moment you meet them, they make you feel like a part of their family. I don't think that anyone does not know, or love these two. After a 6600 mile trek across many states, they pulled in with a smile on their face and were more than willing to do anything that the Ohio Chevelle Club needed them to do. I am blessed to have met you and to consider both of you my friends.

Gary, to think that we might not have had the opportunity to meet, I don't want to think about it. I am so glad that we had the opportunity to sit and talk about your wonderful wife and to see the light in your eyes when you talk about your daughter, just confirmed what I knew all along, you are a special man. We are so fortunate to have you be a part of our family.

This has been a wonderful experience, and I don't want it to end. But, we all have to get back to our daily lives. And I will always remember what a wonderful time I had this weekend.

Thank you..

PS. Just got a text from my brother Eric (Rick), he and the car have made it home safe and sound. David and I will be heading out tomorrow morning.

Glad you all had a good weekend. Nancy, I've met some of the best people and made some really good friends at car shows.

Thumbs up

It took me half the weekend to find you...
Was looking for a guy with white shoes, white belt, and a cheap polyester suit.
It was good to meet 'ya Gary.

Bill, you missed him the day before. He had the plaid leisure suit on.

And on Saturday he was wearing a Polo shirt.

Don't the used car salesman have a bad comb over as well?
