Hey Ric,
I know exactly what your talking about.
I have a vibration in at around 70mph. I replaced the trans with a 700r4.
I also had a different driveshaft cut and replaced the u-joints. I still had the vibration. Once I get the car back on the road, I'm planning to do a gear change from a 3:31 to 3:73. I think I might just replace the yoke on the rearend and hopefully my vibration will be gone.

I know it's not a Chevelle. I still love Chevelles so I hope that counts for something! (70 Olds 442 W30)
