We all need to remember to check on our seniors, whether they are family or friends. I called my mom yesterday and I am so glad that my mom lives in a condo community that plows and salts the streets and sidewalks for everyone there. Makes me worry a little less.

We live on a corner off a main street and we get a lot of snow right at the end of our driveway, I don't look forward to shoveling that snow....

Oh yeah...That's why I have children still living at home !!

Just sitting here playing on the computer while it is snowing, temp is 1 above with wind chill minus 22 thinking, "Wonder if the guys at work are enjoying today like I am". (That being said, I retired last fall after 36 years with The Boeing Company, Flight Line Transportation. HATED moving aircraft on ice and snow.) Hope all who have to get out in this STAY SAFE and STAY WARM.

Well we only got about 1/4" last night. They did change the track of the 2nd storm and we're in the 15" area, we'll see. I did go fill up the gas cans because they're talking about power outages, 40mph winds with all the snow.

I'm stuck in Fort Wayne Indiana and the snow is coming down hard and 30 mph winds and we expecting over 20" in the next 18 hours. They have stopped plowing till Wednesday morning. I want to go home

I had to shovel the snow out of the family room this morning! I open the slider that goes onto the deck and the drifts are so high they fell into the house. The drifts must be 2-3 feet high. I swore at the snow.

Did that help?

We had a little snow on the steps and family room doors but patio is under an overhead enclosed deck. There's bare pavement between the house and the shed from the wind blowing through there. Had to tell how much snow we got because of the wind. The motorhome has less snow on it today then it did a couple of days ago. They say we're in a lull right now and the snow will start again soon but only a few more inches.

Hell yes it helped! We just now got the deck cleared off. Time to fire up the "SS Ford".

So much for the snow ending at noon. It's snowing pretty good and blowing around. Got the driveway pretty well cleaned off with my non-SS small block Ariens snowblower, doesn't even have posi-traction. Course it will need to be done again soon if this snow keeps up.
