Pulled into St Augustine yesterday afternoon. Huge brush fire along I-95, we lucked out. Traffic was backed up to the overpass at the exit we had to get off at. We were able to get off, people that passed that exit sat on the freeway for ours.

Stayed here an extra day and did some sightseeing today. Tomorrow on to Miami. Yesterday was a tough drive, lots of strong wind gusts blowing across the freeway. I was nervous about the mountains in WV, they were a breeze compared to fighting the winds. Hopefully tomorrow won't be as windy.

Well we made it. We're in Miami, actually south west of Miami, not too far from Homestead. Weather was nice yesterday, pretty good ride coming down. Miles of burnt trees and brush along the freeway in 2 different areas, still smoldering.

Got setup here in the campground, had a few beers, grilled some burgers and crashed. Driving a motorhome is lot more work than driving a car. Wind gusts and semi's push you around. You're always driving, not like the car, I'm beat.

Small fresh water leak going into the toilet. I'll have to figure out how that thing works and fix it. Turned the water off for now, I need to sit and enjoy my coffee for awhile.

You all enjoy your day.

Pulled the toilet out on Friday. First I had to go to HD to buy a long extension and deepwell socket. Slow drip from the water valve. Found some rust from iron in the water and a worn out O ring. Went back to HD, bought some O rings, silicone grease and plug to cap off the water line in case it sill leaked. Cleaned it up, replaced the O ring, greased it up, no more leak! What a relief, I though I was going to have to order a valve on line and have it shipped to my sisters house.

Visited with my sister and mom some yesterday. Close to 80 here right now, a little breeze, very comfortable. Hope everyone is doing well.

So glad you made there safely Hank.
Enjoy your time there and bring some of that Florida sunshine back with you to melt this white crap here in the snowbelt.

Glad to hear you made it down safely .The weather here in Georgia has been great until Friday .Started raining Friday night and just quit this morning, but we needed the rain .Plus it gave me time to work in my shop a bit. Its cold and windy now but will get warmer this week. Have fun down there.

Hank,
great to hear about your travels. I am very jealous about the 80 degrees. Hopefully one day we will hit that here.

Safe travels...
