Default ? for admins

Why is it I can login, make a post and then go to make another post in less than five minutes and be logged out?

This has happened on several occasions.
Funny thing is, it shows as though I am logged in and can write a reply but as soon as I click on submit I get the error message that I must be logged in to make a post.

Is there a setting that is causing this and does anyone else seem to have this issue?

Thank you

Try this...
Need to clear your "cookies" and then login. Should work OK then...

Thank you Bill.

I always clear my cache and cookies every time I close my browser.
I hope that will make a difference.

And it does not happen every time, but often enough to raise the question.

Are you still having problems ? Or did Bill help you fix this ?

Do you check the box that says "remember me" ?

Please let us know.

I do not normally check the remember me box.
I always clear my cache and cookies anytime I close my browser.

I do web site testing for QualityLogic so I am pretty sure it is not anything I am doing.
It does seem that for some reason and not every time but a cookie is not getting dropped correctly.
I have seen it before on sites we test but usually early in the build.
I do not know for sure what it is, but there is still another issue in your logo at the top of the page, if your logged in and click on it you get logged out.
I brought this up before and it is not a major issue, I just figure you guys want to know.
It only takes a couple of seconds to log back in.

Thank you,
Carl

I think someone was having a problem like this last year. Found it, read Robert's post and see if it sounds like you're problem, his seemed to be under certain conditions.
