Took my 1971 out

I took out my 1971 Chevelle out for the first time,drove it to work.Drives good and no problems with it yet.My law partner Rodney saw it for the first time,I am a lawyer and he said cool car.He is a Chevy fanatic too and this is one thing we have in common.Looked it over and he saw it was a SS with the LS5 454.I said it is a SS and popped the hood.Looked at the engine compartment and said he wanted a ride in it.I did when we went on our lunch break and I saw the look on his face,said it has power.I did a burnout on the parking lot,a 5 foot burnout with smoke coming out.An employee,Alan called it slow and I said it is not.Took him for a ride and proved him wrong.So far I am impressed and had to fill it up once.I don't have to pour in the lead additive in,hardened seats were installed when the engine was redone during the restoration.Going to drive it tommorow also if the weather is right.

I am so jealous. The weather here has been rainy and cold. It is Michigan, what else can I expect.

I am sure that you loved the look on your colleagues faces. Can't wait to hear more of your stories.

I liked the looks on my colleages face's.I did pick up my children from school with it too,some of their friends came up and said "the car lady".I am known as "the car lady" and proud of it.Went over to see my husband and one of his employees want to touch it and I said no.I am a tough cajun woman calling my cars my babies,I am originally from Louisiana and moved to Michigan when I was 16 with my family.

My car is not finished yet,so I will have to settle for taking the wife out tomorrow night.

Sounds like some fun, weather here was finally sunny today. Wish my car was ready to drive. Maybe bu July.

Drove it today,to my friend Denny's place and did a burnout on his driveway and does not mind this.He saw the car,I let him test drive it and he is like me.Said mine puts his cousin Shawn's 1969 Mustang with a big block to shame.Even said my Chevelle will out run this 1969 Mustang.
