I carried a gerber for years, but now I can't go without my little swiss army knife. I must use it ten times a day at work and home. Little bugger really comes in handy.

I suppose I can say that my van carries a knife in the glove box. I didn't know this until we needed a tool and David said, "Oh yeah I put that knife the kids gave me in here". "It is a Swiss army knife cause Daddy is always looking for some kind of tool", that's what the kids said they wanted for David.

My wife teaches school ... says the primary item in her desk is confiscated knives taken from kids (electronics is number 2) .... interesting the children feel a need to carry one and bring it to school no less.

Been carrying a pocket knife for years. I'm old enough to even have carried a small pocket knife to school of all things without having to call out the Swat Teams. Don't feel completly dressed without it. Usually carry a single blade Kershaw, sometimes I use a small Buck. Used to carry a double bladed Case Folding Hunter I got in Junior High until it became too collectible and figured I might mis-lay it.

I carried a knife in school too (graduated 10 years ago)... worked in my Dad's body shop after school, and got used to ALWAYS carrying it. I was smart enough not to take it out of my pocket at school, so it was never confiscated.

Buck 303. Every day. Wife bought it for me 40 years ago.
8 yr old Grandson asked me if I had my knife with me one day. I said "does Grandpa have pants on?" He said yes. I said "then my knife is with me"

Mine is a Victorinox Fieldmaster

After losing my previous knife, I had to find another with a scissors so I could trim my fingernails.

That's not a pocket knife Derek, it's a tool chest.

I had one of those years ago. Not sure whatever happened to it but it was handy.
