When I go to a car show I want to see the "regular" guy win an award. The one who has owned the car for a while and put the blood and sweat into making the car what they want.

When I go around to car shows I talk to everyone, just ask grumpy he loses me all the time. I ask all sorts of questions about their cars. Some people just ignore me, and some are just so proud of what they have done. These are the kind of people that I would love to see win an award. So how do I put that into words.

Another thing that I considered was taking a bunch of pics of my favorites, and narrowing it down to 10 cars and posting the pics, and letting the members at our site vote on their favorite. This way people who are unable to make it to the show can help decide. This could be a nightmare or it could work very well. What do you think ? And what would we call it. The Chevelleforum.net favorite ? We are going to have a plaque made up to give away. Please give me your thoughts.

I like "best driver". Find a nice car with stones in the tires, bugs in the grill and an ass groove wore into the seat. One where the shift knob is wore down, rubber on the quarters, and the chrome just may not be perfect.

Those are the kinds of cars I like to look at at a carshow. The perfect numbers matching cars don't do much for me. Not to take anything away from them, but if youve seen one youve seen them all. I like something thats driven hard.

I like the average guy winning too. At the CB shows you can tell automatically who is going to win because every year they win. I go to shows not expecting to win, I go for the fun.

The MD Club excludes the winners from the prior year from winning and gives them their own class so other people a chance to win.

Give an award to a car in progress, a young person's car and if you want a best of show. Giving an award to the average car encourages people to keep coming back.

That's what I want to do. But should we call it the "average guy" award. Just doesn't sound good. Maybe we should just call it the Chevelleforum.org Peoples Choice. Hey that doesn't sound to bad...what do you guys think ?

I really wanted to make it something different..what about "Members Choice". Cause even if I cannot get online to post pics, grumpy and I are still members. And flash will be there too.
