After driving for over 10 hours we go to the DaysInn and looked at the steep driveway, while thinking holy crap ! The van and trailer made it up the steep grade, but not without scraping a little. So today we are going to take the trailer over to Moss Wright Park and park it there, with the show. This way if we need the golf cart, tools, to put the car away or anything, it will be closer and on a flat surface.

Walked around the parking lot this morning to see a lot of beautiful cars. The hotel, like many others around here, is sold out, so parking is at a prime and you see many orange cones from the Chevelles who don't wanna lose their spots.

We look forward to seeing John (flash) and Joan later, as well as seeing grandsport if he decides to come. Plus meeting many more people.

After talking to the people in the parking lot we found out that registration starts at 10am. So it is almost time to go, but I just had to stop in and let you know how excited we are to be here.

I hope everyone has as good of a day, as I anticipate having !

Sounds like a fun time. Im surprised to read that you all trailer these cars. Is that what the majority of participants do? Why do yall choose to trailer rather than drive?

We trailered our car because it was almost 600 miles each way. The trans has less than 100 miles on it, the motor less than 200 miles on it. And no air conditioning. I know the people from the north complain about the cold. But damn, the heat and humidity here...it sucks ! Proof of that was the fact that by noon at CB11 an ambulance arrived to take someone to the hospital because of the heat. I wish I could have brought some cold weather with us.

Some of people say they don't trailer their car when they drive into CB11. But then you see them at the hotel, where their trailer is parked.

I have 2 kids so the car would be trashed after a 500 mile trip so it rides in the trailer. If it was just the wife and I the car would be driven.

It is hot for sure. We are going to camp out under the tent today and try to keep cool.

We have the 69 4 door this year, one of the few 4 doors this year.

I've been there a few times and it does get HOT, but with all the beautiful cars and the awesome people, I can put up with a little heat. Wish I could be there with Ya'll. Drink lots of or water which ever you prefer.

I hope everyone has a great time. I would love to be out there also, but since my car is not here yet & the fact that it's so far away I will be staying home.
Tane and I did go to Camaro fest in Phoenix back in April .
That sounds alot like what this is. We had a blast.
Again have fun and stay safe.........
