Absolutely, That's what I've always been told. Real Chevelles have 4 headlights.
and I always thought all Chevelles wanted to be Red also.

having owned a 64, 65, 67 and 69 I have to say the only years that really count are 64 and 65, the rest were posing as Chevelles.

What I gathered from reading your post,you have never really owned the correct year Chevelle to base your facts upon.

I started a thread on it in General Talk Friday night..Didn't mean to sound like I was picking it apart. I just noticed it had a 72 grille and 71 park lights and headlight buckets, that's why I said 71 with a 72 grille.

yeah that and the alternator diodes have the wrong date code.

and don;t even get me stsarted about the air in the tires

I was going to buy a 70 but I couldn't figure out how to make it look like a 65
