I don't doubt that I have them mixed up. This past cold has left me feeling run down and as grumpy has said "out of it". It is getting better. Sorry.

Ms Grumpy ,settle in with some moon shine or something similar at bedtime and sweat that cold out.I dont do any alcohol anymore but will sometimes take about half a bottle of the non alcohol Nyquill at bedtime if Im really sick and it helps a lot.I used to use the moon shine and felt better whether I was better or not.

errr flash might want to check the ingedient label of NyQuil it all contains alcohol unless you are talking of children's nyquil.

Just saw a Dr Oz show acknowledgeing that NyQuil was being used more as a sleeping aid than to fight colds.... Guess it works!

I actually use a generic store brand that does not contain alcohol ,it dont work as good but helps .
