Ray Barnes and I toured his collection earlier this year. He had an open house to raise money for a charity. Ray had been there before, his daughter is friends with Ken Lingenfelters step daughter to be. Yesterday one of the neighbors stopped over and asked if I wanted to go for a private tour of the collection. He spent last week hunting with the curator of the collection. So Tuesday my neighbor Pat and our other neighbor Darryl will get a private tour.
Here is a link with a little info on the collection. He has some pretty rare and exotic cars along with some of the custom cars his company has built. http://justacarguy.blogspot.com/2009...n-is-that.html |

Ken and John were cousins or second cousins. Ken bought Lingenfelter Performance Engineering after John died.

Well the private tour was definitely better than the open house. Five of us, including Doug the curator, in 45,000 sf of storage area, around 120 cars. Ken's collection covers the whole spectrum. If it's rare, different then he's interested in it.
I'll get some pictures up in the next couple of days. |

That Doug. is a very nice guy. He is the one that drives the Reventon to the show, he put most of the miles on it. Ken only put in like 50 miles.
