removing the master cylinder and booster

How hard/easy is it to remove the master cylinder and booster from a 1970 Chevelle? Mine is painted all black and I want to strip the paint off to reveal the brass color of the booster and paint the master cylinder silver.

You may have to have the booster replated if it's been painted and the master cylinder should be painted cast gray
