Default So exited!!

after 3 years of working and never getting a raise due to budget cuts! i finally got a real raise! now i can save about 500 a month to get parts for the chevelle! so happy now chelly might see the road this year then

Congrats. I am still waiting to see this "recovery" they speak of in the media. I know some areas are doing better than others, where I am is not one of them.

Neither are we, even if the press says different. When, in Detroit, they are laying of hundreds of firefighters in the middle of summer. But I guess to the people who make these decisions, it is more important that someone sits behind a desk and pushes paper, than a firefighter saving someone in a burning building. I don't understand our government.

I agree! They layed off a bunch of cops here and closed a fire department! But i think i threatened to quit and i finally got a raise
