YA, he says he would never hear the end of it if he didnt wet sand or buff it. So thats what Im waiting on now. Im very excited to get it back. But this is really the worst time. I do motorcycle repair as a side job and am swamped with work and just starting building a completely scratchbuilt built bike.Click image for larger version

The painter dropped it off last night! It looks really good. I am very happy with the quality. There are a couple minor blemishes and one drip. Nothing I cant live with or that cant be fixed. Im only building a driver.
Now is the long road of putting it all back together with the new parts.Click image for larger version

Thanks yall. Quick question. Are the rear interior panels needed to be installed before the back glass is installed?

I was considering having a aquaintance install my weather stripping and door glass. But I am real hesistant as he wants to take it to his shop and he is a well known procrastinator. and his shop looks like a junk yard. He is capable. I'm just not getting a warm fuzzy feeling about it. How hard of a job is it getting the weatherstripping installed and side glass in and adjusted? He also told me that the rear interior panels have to be installed before the rear glass can be installed. Because the panels determine how far in the back glass should be??? Sounds kind of fishy. I'm thinking about doing it myself, just not sure how big of a deal it is to get the window glass adjusted to seal and close?
