Enjoy, I don't think Fl got hit too bad. A lot of rain but not a lot of high winds. My sister lives in Fort Meyers area, she said it was no big deal.

It's been hot and sunny here, no mess to be seen. In fact we joke about what a "big" storm it was.

Florida is MUCH better suited for hurricanes than any other state. Why? Because they get them more often. Anything that's loose or in disrepair and not up to code gets taken out by the hurricane and is replaced with something stronger.

My parents live just outside of Orlando and their double wide has already sustained 80 mph straight line winds with gusts over 100 mph. They have more tie downs on that house than most site built homes. There would be a large hole in the world if that house ever blew away.

I'm glad everyone is doing ok this weekend. I'm spending an extended period of time with the Chevelle. Today I'm going to reassemble the radiator support and grill. Then maybe check on my daughter's '61 Bel Air and see if I can fix the wiring issue with it.

If Maureen would allow,a double wide on five acres with a four garage would be perfect .But the key words are if Maureen would allow.
