Well, aside from the fact that the show car is a hard top and the one for sale is a sedan, I think it would be worth it. $1,500 would take it home and it's worth more than that parted out. I don't think you can lose here. If I had the cash, I'd go for it.

To put things into perspective, there's a couple more-doors selling around here in the $5-6K range.

I'm kind of digging the blue duct tape interior.

Probably sold quickly if it's in decent shape.
Sports Sedans are awesome with all the windows rolled down.
I had a '70 Sports Sedan a few years ago. Some guy bought it from me right off the ACES Southern regional show field.
It had won Top Three '70 Stock class at Chevellabration the summer before...same year that my white '70 won Modified for it's 2nd time.

Has the correct 69 dog dish hubcaps and good rubber, how can you go wrong. Seriously, don't you have enough going on Ray?

Too many doors for me, I would focus on driving your 70' more.

I have plenty to do. I didn't notice the sedan part. I would want hard top without the posts in the windows if I was going to build one.

Hey it's not a bad deal, needs some work but it's not a bad deal. I said seriously but was half kidding, you always seem to have so many projects going on but if that's what you enjoy what the heck, why not. If you want a hardtop, keep looking, you'll find one.
