I happen to agree with everyone here.

The younger generation that always got a trophy for participating in sports, that keeps getting chances in school until the school gives up and passes them, (whether they're ready or not) that have a minimum wage of over $8/hour. .....they have absolutely NO incentive to be great. "Everyone is equal". Well, there's no motivation to be great. No matter how much you shine, you get the same recognition as the dirt bag barely scrapping along.

NOW, ...Obama wants to penalize you for doing well. Tax the rich. ....fantastic plan. How many poor people do you know of that hire employees? That would be, ....ummm, ..NONE! If he raises taxes for the rich, we're going to see a huge spike in unemployment.

This fool is bent on destroying the country. There's no other explanation for it. Stock up on guns and ammunition. All this fool will have to say is "No more privately owned guns", and we're in a revolution.

Voter turnout was way down in most states.
that says it all right there! not going to get into it to much but its the ones they pick that causes them to loose but to make this thread a little more fun here is something i found

Your middle paragraph is exactly my point. We are on the same page but what goes on in other peoples minds are just tax them because they have more money. Well it just doesn't work like that, we work our buts off to get that far in life and at the same time I employ over 30 people. Romney was completly my man for making unemployment go down and finally get this country back on track. To bad more than half of the country didn't see it and now they might pay for it in the long run.

Just some observations under this president, vp, and administration...

the word "racist" has lost all meaning to me. Now, it is merely something someone screams at another person when they are not getting their way or hearing what they want to hear. (Generally FACTS)

It is now OK to openly tell someone that you voted for him because "he is black." (Which is funny to me - because he is of caucasian, african, and arab descent.) I now see more clearly who the real bigots around me are.

Free crap & false security has become more valuable to most instead of liberty and freedom.

Just a few off the top of my head - let's hear what everyone else has to say.

I am not political, never even voted before. So for me looking from outside the box with no bias either way i believe the problem is us the people that is. I think the population of the world itself is just too much. You can only have so many jobs so that leaves the rest of the people to unemployment. What also comes from more population is more (policing) hence why the law enforcement, govt, and military is so hugely populated. You can only support so many people before you have to let some go unhelped it is just comon sense. The biggest problem with people is overspending and debt which increases with the more population increases. People are just too greedy these days and it will get worse unless we put ourselves in check. I remember a few years ago when there was a new video console coming out i dont remember the name it was along the lines of the xbox or playstation but people would take off work, spend days in a line and buy it. All just to say hey look at me i am one of the first to have this. I also remember it was near christmas time and people would stand in those lines for days to get one then list it on ebay for at least a 600% markup and some Dumba** would buy it just to give it to their kid for christmas. If he or she would have waited till after the first of the year they could get it all day long for the same price the people who stood in line for days got it for. I think we do need more govt control of certian things like medical and things we NEED to survive oil, gas food and so on. My wife had to have some steriod injections (shots) in her back (3). Of course her medical insurrance covered everything but her deductable but when she got a breakdown from her insurrance on the claim the cost of the shot was over $30k each. She called the insurrance company to let them know something is wrong all she had was a shot in her back and there is no way it should have cost that much. Again she only has to pay her part but she knew something had to be wrong. The insurrance got back with her a couple of days later after doing a investigation and they were told by the doctors office that the liquid in the injection itself was special and cost $30,000. Really, there aint no way in hell. I had a chiroporactor bill me for things they said the ins would not cover and i found out later he also billed the ins for the same thing, needless to say he is no longer in business. We as people need to be told what we can and cant afford, what we need or dont need (to a point). And until that happens we are just going to keep living outside of our means (which alot of people say is the american way) Well that needs to change along with we need to take care of each other and quit worrying about what we have and want. I make over 200k a year and live comfortable and have a few employees as well and i will give up something for myself before letting one of them go as they are the reason i have what i have. My house is just above the median price of homes here, the newest vehicle i own is a 97 ford ranger with no a/c or power steering but it gets me where i need to go and at 26mpg. Unlike most of my friends i dont need a 40k dollar truck or a new car every 2 years or the latest and greatest gadget. It is their money and they can do what they want with it by all means but i get sick and tired of hearing them bitch about rising taxes which makes them increase their prices and do cutbacks so they can still live outside their means. Just my little rant. Thanks
Greg

Greg, great rant. I would have copied it, but it made me dizzy reading everything in one paragraph. lol

I especially agree that we need to take care of each other. I will just add that we need to stop trying to "Keep up with the Jones's". I saved for many years to be able to purchase a new car, I didn't want a huge car payment. For many years I went thru having the worst credit because of a divorce, and I learned to live by paying cash for almost everything. When the economy crashed I was still living that way so I wasn't hurt as much as my friends who lived on credit.

I don't know what the next 4 years are going to hold, but I am going to hold onto my cash...just in case.
