So I was driving my daily driver to work on weds like normal. I heard a squeaking sound coming from my driver side rear wheel. I figured it was the brakes. Got to the gas station while filling up i took a quick look at yup the warning tab was right on the rotor. Get to work call up my local napa they order in the brakes for me. I get them thursday night to do on friday night when i get home from work.
I get home friday night. Start up my RX7 starts with no problems i was happy since i have not turned the key on that car since october. Backed it out put it on the side and i left it running just so it can get to op temp. I go down the driveway to get the magnum and i start it but then i noticed something leaking from the rear corner of my rx7. i knew exactly what it was just from that location. one of the hoses on my fuel line must have a leak or a crack no problem. shut it off close the garage start working on the magnum. (here is where it gets good!) I turned on the heat in the garage turned on the air compressor (to remove the lugs only) go inside to eat some dinner and change in to the work on the car clothes. go out to the garage jack up the passenger side knock it out in 25 mins. Now i just got new tires about 2 months ago so i have not removed the wheels since. i go over to the driver side start to remove the lugs and one of them was just spinning not coming off just spinning. I started to freak out i have never had something like that happen to me ever. i called the tire shop and i went over and he told me "that is dodge for you, they are only good to be removed 3 times and then you have to replace them." I looked at him and said "no you stripped the lug by over torquing them and this is the result. That is why i asked to have the wheels put back on by hand." So needless to say he is not getting my money any more. He gave me his tools because he didn't want to do do it at the time because he was getting ready to close up shop. So now i own a set of high grade easy outs (i'm going to return them next time i go that way) So i had to stop working on the car. Saturday morning i get up early to go to another tire shop that is a about 30 mins from me and he was able to get it off in 1 min with his tools. they didn't even charge me so i gave the kid a tip for doing it for me. I called the local parts store and no one had a replacement lug. I called the dealer and yup they had them. 9.95 each. So i start driving to the dealer. On the way there my oil light comes on. I don't play around when the oil light comes on i pull over right away. I went to check the dip stick so i pulled the handle to open the hood and snap it broke off! the hood still opened but the handle snapped off! Great. checked my dip stick and it was still showing full. started the car back up and then the oil light was going crazy! at this point i am about 3 blocks from the dealer. I told the dealer what happened with my oil light and the lug and the hood release and he said "damn dude you are batting 1.000 today" so they pulled the car in and called me in and showed me that my oil pressure switch pretty much split in half and was leaking oil all over the place. so after they replaced the switch and the lug and the handle $217 and i still had to go home and change my brakes! sorry for the rant ![]()

Shaun I was going to post about my day. But it pales compared to your past few days. Like my kids tell me when I have a bad day..."Just keep swimming, just keep swimming".
