Default New guy from Indiana

Just wanted to say hi. I am from the indy area. I do not currently own a Chevelle but would love to own 1 one day. My dad had one prior to me being born, wish that car was still around.

I currently have a 2012 Camaro SS convertible that is a weekend car.

Welcome to the site Ryan!

I just bought a Black 2013 Camaro SS convertible last Saturday (2/9/13).
I haven't had the privilege of driving it yet, hopefully in a couple months when the weather breaks.
Have fun!

Welcome Ryan. It doesn't matter that you don't own a Chevelle. As long as you have a passion for cars, that's all that matters.

So tell us a little bit about yourself and how you came about buying the Camaro.

I am 33 years old. I have lived in Indiana all my life (previously NW Indiana close to Chicago). I currently work in the aerospace industry as a mfg engineer. Have 2 kids (3 and 9 months). My son loves the camaro. He thinks it is his. He likes to help me keep it clean. My daughter hasn't been in it yet. My favorite hobby is detailing. It's my stress relief.

I have wanted one for quite some time. I was secretly (wife didnT know) on the dealer list for a ZL1 but it ended up taking so long I could wait. My wife has always wanted a convertible so that is one reason why I picked it. I basically drove her crazy until she said I could get it. I compromised, let her get a van and I got the camaro as a summer car.

It's a lot of fun going to shows and on cruises which is the main reason why I got it.
