I have help lined up for saturday but I hope to have most of it done on friday ,Im going to be at Home Depot at 7 AM friday morning to rent a trencher and get started soon after .

So is PVC pipe legal in your area for drinking water? We can use the flexable plastic pipe that comes in a roll that is marked safe for drinking water use, but not PVC.

CPVC is okay for hot/cold water supply, that's the off white/yellow stuff. PVC for drains and cold water supply but not hot. I'm sure Tony would know better and codes may be different in different areas.

PVC is used for DWV systems (drain, waste, vent). Like Hank says, CPVC is for domestic water supply.

Good luck on the project John. I know that is going to be a big job.

White PVC is legal here ,CPVC for hot ,but you can really use whatever you want as there is no inspection .I chose PVC because its easy to repair if needed .
