Hello,
I have had my Chevelle since the 80's. I purchased it for $1300.00, it had a whopping 30 something thousand miles on it. Still had the original tires. It had been in storage until last summer when I got the urge to drive it again. I have done some mechanical work that was overdue and replaced the front seat vinyl. The body is showing it's age so that is next on the list of things to do. I came here looking for info on a current electrical issue and I'm pretty sure that I will be back on a regular basis looking for help and pic's of everyones cars. |

Welcome JD. Always love adding another '72 to the mix. Myself, '72 Malibu owner for the past 15 yrs. Just curious, where in Northern Michigan ? The UP ? Just north of Detroit here. We also have a few members that live near the Flint area.

I am in the Petoskey/Charlevoix area but originally from Saginaw. My 18 yr. old son did not appreciate the Chevelle as anything more than a nice old car, until last summer when I let him drive it. He started getting comments and questions from a lot of "old guys". Now he knows why I have kept it for all these years.
