Default First Grandchild on the way

My son and my daughter in-law told us in June that they were expecting and they were waiting to tell all their friends and co-workers till everything was looking good. In fact they had a 10 day Jeep trip scheduled across the Mojave Desert (From Las Vegas to Bakersfield Ca) that they decided she should not go at the last minute and Craig asked me but is was to short notice for me to get out there. He did end up going with one of his friends in a group of Jeeps.

Well last week they finally announced to everyone that they are expecting and did it in their own special way on Facebook...this in not unusual for them as she owns her own company that specializes in the social media aspect for advertising and he is a sales and marketing director for FPI Studios. Leslie and I are very excited to becoming Grandparents for the first time.

Congrats, I'm about a week away from becoming a grandparent for the first time. It could be any day now.

Congrats!! Having grandchildren is fantastic!!
I've got 5 grandkids-2 boys/3 girls...my daughter in LA has three; my son here in GA has 2. His youngest (age 6) came home from school last Thursday with the chicken pox.
Her sister (age 8) will probably be next...

Congrats! I love the magazine cover. Very clever.

My oldest daughter will 16 in two months. It better be a WHILE before I'm a Grandpa. ....otherwise the kid will be fathered by an impotent man with no legs.

I like that thinking, my son is 28 and been married for a year so I'm good. I have a 19 year old daughter at College and I think the same as you do.
