Surrendered a little more of the corner of the driveway today. Not much, got it piled up a little higher, about 3.5'. Fortunately the driveway is a little over 30' across there and it's beyond the garage doors so we don't need the space. The driveway is getting narrower though, the part going out to the street. It use to be around 13-14' wide, down to 10 or 11 now.

So how much snow did you get Hank ? I think we got between 4-6 inches. Depending on where you go in my yard there is more snow. The wind is blowing the snow all around so when you are done shoveling and turn around, the sidewalk is covered with snow again. I thought that I was the only one who had my two car wide driveway turn into a one car driveway. Yesterday the snow plows came down the street to widen them and left 40lb blocks of ice at the end of my driveway. I kindly pushed them back out into the street infront of the snow at the side of my driveway.

I guess we got about the same Nancy. Like you said, wind was blowing so it depends on where you looked. I'm sure they fill up the end of my driveway again today. Hopefully not too bad, I and the neighbor across the street cleaned a lot of the road around our driveways.

I bet, it's been a long winter for you guys. We will see if the snow arrives today here. Looks like mostly south of us. We are at 21 degrees this morning.

17 degrees and about 1" of the white stuff on the ground, 7" south of us with more heading our way. I guess we are going to get winter finally for the next 3 or 4 days.

Ken I picked up my kids at 3:30pm and it was snowing here again too. I am so tired of shoveling snow. We used our snowblower to get some of it, but you still have to shovel some parts. And the last snow, a couple of days ago, my son was using the snowblower and the handle broke and we cannot use it because it connects to the frame and the metal sheered off. Bummer...but it was a little one we bought at a garage sale and it lasted a long time for the $15 we spent on it.

You get some of the joy we've been experiencing for months. 17 isn't fun, I know, it's a couple degrees colder here. Of course it seems like we've had more temps in the teens or below than in the 20's and average, should be in the 30's.

Wind is blowing about 35 mph so the wind chill is the minus column. I worked until noon outside and called it quits. Came home the back door way before everyone else panicked. We have had 2 twenty plus car pile ups on the main freeways already. I just put new traction tires on the company truck about 3 weeks ago, glad I did. We now have 3 inches at the house with more on the way through Saturday.
